Design: Rental Web Site

Goals

• Make site reflect existing logo for branding
• Provide a casual feel
• Provide more details to prospective renters who respond to ad

Branding

An existing logo was used for the foundation of the site. The roof, the lower case lettering, and the waves would be reflected in the design.

The site would utilize the waves and reflect the cottage logo in each page's title. The bookmark graphic would maintain the sense of the roof over the cottage and use the first letter of the brand. Lowercase would be used in headers and menus like the logo.

   

Wireframe

The page design incorporated images of each of the rooms with small descriptions of the room above.

Implementation

The site uses cool tones of beach glass green and blue. The wave is used as wallpaper behind the main content.
